THE SHED CAFE, EDOM, TEXAS
Ain't Nothin' Like Home-Style Cookin!
The Shed Cafe is legendary, having served home-cooked meals and desserts for 37 years. The front porch waits for the crowd that will come every day and every night. The menu is strictly down-home - chicken fried steak, fried catfish, 10 oz. Rib eye, mashed potatoes, pinto beans, black-eyed peas and cornbread. - pretty much what you would expect. The pies are world-class from the chocolate meringue to the coconut cream. The Shed Cafe is a step back in time you will not want to miss.

I second this Motion! This looks like a great ride. Anyone else agree?
I'm game for this one. The menu looks great. Looking forward to riding to East Texas again. Good call Ken.
Not quite in the pines of east Texas but close.
Most people seem too arrive early, this group likes to eat.
It looks like from the way Larry has it posted that the ride leaves at 9:00 and if you want to eat, that you should come earlier for breakfast. Not 100% sure if that's the intention. Larry, can you clear this up? I'm not a big fan of the Cracker Barrel, so we're going to show up in time to ride probably. Just want to be sure what time we leave.
Just trying to be different for places to meet. Our Place Restaurant in mansfield is always good. If the RSVP'd group wishes to changes this to Our Place...Please Chime In.....Thx
The time is set for kick stand up time, so come earlier if you want to have breakfast.

Becky and I are planning on going early so that we can have breakfast before the ride. We're hoping that others will join us. We'll plan to be at Cracker Barrell by 8:00 a.m. Hope to see you there.
Sorry we could not make it after all as i text messaged and emailed. Tamara got very sick Friday night and as of 7:00 am she was still sick and unable to ride. Sorry we missed everyone and hope you had a great ride.
We may try this same ride the next day, on Sunday at 10:00 am if anyone is interested
Weather was pretty cold at 7am on the ride to eat. It had warmed up quite a bit by ride time. It was a good ride, Kyle found some interesting roads to ride on. We got to see some buffalo on the way back, but the deer were a no show. Food was good, a lot of christian bikers there. It was a good day to ride, the new insulated pants worked very well. All ready washed the bugs off the bike, will wax it tomorrow, have 1 grandchild and 2 greatgrand children coming over tonight. You missed a good ride.
how about The Shed Cafe, in Edom TX?
