Ride To The Shed Cafe in Edom

THE SHED CAFE, EDOM, TEXAS

Ain't Nothin' Like Home-Style Cookin!

The Shed Cafe is legendary, having served home-cooked meals and desserts for 37 years. The front porch waits for the crowd that will come every day and every night. The menu is strictly down-home - chicken fried steak, fried catfish, 10 oz. It looks like from the way Larry has it posted that the ride leaves at 9:00 and if you want to eat, that you should come earlier for breakfast. Not 100% sure if that's the intention. Larry, can you clear this up? I'm not a big fan of the Cracker Barrel, so we're going to show up in time to ride probably. Just want to be sure what time we leave.

Weather was pretty cold at 7am on the ride to eat. It had warmed up quite a bit by ride time. It was a good ride, Kyle found some interesting roads to ride on. We got to see some buffalo on the way back, but the deer were a no show. Food was good, a lot of christian bikers there. It was a good day to ride, the new insulated pants worked very well. All ready washed the bugs off the bike, will wax it tomorrow, have 1 grandchild and 2 greatgrand children coming over tonight. You missed a good ride.
